Take a peek at the illustrations entered in our recent Anthony Braxton competition.
Well done to all the creative souls who entered the competition, which required entrants to draw a diagram in the style used by Anthony Braxton to name his compositions graphically. All of the entries were awesome and the judging panel, which included The Wire's Publisher and Editor-In-Chief Tony Herrington and The Wire's resident artist Savage Pencil, had a tough time picking the overall winner.

In the end it was decided that the lucky winner to receive the limited edition The Complete Arista Recordings of Anthony Braxton (#242), courtesy of Mosaic Records, should be Ximena Rios-Zertuche Benito from Mexico, whose illustration is the last picture in the gallery. Congratulations!
