Erki Kurenniemi on Ubu.com Ubu.com is a site where you can get inspired for years! But what a pity that it’s almost impossible to see and to listen to all the material there. A particularly interesting page for me is the one on Erki Kurenniemi, an incredible Finnish electronic music pioneer who is still almost unknown.

Mnozil Brass I just love them! They're an 'applied brass music' ensemble that I saw live a few weeks ago and it was incredible. Check out their "Premier" here and don’t miss seeing them on stage if you have the chance.

Film Sound Cliches Here you’ll find all the sounds you have never searched for: "Film Sound Stereotypes and Common Logic Flaws".

Iannis Xenakis This is the where you can find almost all information regarding the work of composer Iannis Xenakis.

Guy Reibel: Suite pour Edgar Poë: Ombre Guy Reibel is one of the most underestimated of the French GRM (Groupe de Recherches Musicales) composers. His hilarious release, Variations En Étoile/Deux Études Aux Modulations/Suite Pour Edgar Poe, is available here, but check out all of his music!

Marx Brothers: A Day At The Races Humour is a question of timing but in the Marx Brothers' A Day At The Races you also find one of the first real inside-piano players, where Harpo Marx turns the piano into an harp and plays Rachmaninoff. Also, if you're a beginner with the work of the Marx Brothers, then there's this site for beginners.

Werner Schroeter Whether you are interested in film or not, check out the work of the late German director Werner Schroeter, especially his unscripted opera Abfallprodukte Der Liebe (Love's Debris) from 1996. Great cinema, great music!
