Analogous Interactions is inviting artists to submit proposals for presentation at their events for the International Computer Music Conference, taking place at Stony Brook University, in association with New York University, and the Electronic Music Foundation of New York City. They ask that the proposed works explore the intersection of computer music and 'emergent phenomena', including generative sound and video works, performance and installations, live-coding and musical improvisation, reality based games and social experiments, biomedical hacking and new technology, artificial intelligence and 'chaordic' systems. Works should be “nondeterministic”, having an unpredictable and/or live element, and should be appropriate for a performance, an installation, or a social event. The deadline for submissions is December 31, 2009. Click here for more details and to submit your work.
