Sonic Youth's Lee Ranaldo and multimedia
artist Leah Singer have collaborated on a book & CD which has
recently been published by Dis Voir. Water Days documents
an exchange of pictures, texts and recordings between Singer and
Ranaldo around the themes of wanderlust and the desire for home.
The CD component was originally made as a radio work for Atelier de
Création Radiophonique de France Culture (ACR) featuring recordings
from fellow musicians and artists Michael Snow, Cameron Jamie,
Michael Morley, Bill Dillworth, Brigitte Fontaine, Robert Smithson
and Carson McCullers.
