paul+jamrozy+c.3.3

Test Dept founder Paul Jamrozy is performing C.3.3: Ballad Of Reading Gaol - The Cacofonietta. The project explores prison life, drawing from both Jamrozy's experience working in Reading prison with young offenders, and C.3.3, the pseudonym for The Ballad Of Reading Gaol, Oscar Wilde's poem about the execution of a fellow inmate, written while he was incarcerated for gross indecency. Performing alongside Jamrozy (who will be on laptop, launchpad, and percussion) are Roz Corrigan on keyboards and gramophone, Alistair Adams on pipes, and 'Grassy' Noel Macken reading the poem. London Horse Hospital, 4 June, 7:30pm, £7.50, and Leipzig Die Schaubühne Lindenfels, 12 June.
