Swedenborg Short Film Festival 2011: Call For Works

Still from Winner of Best Film 2010: Seer's Catalogue

The Swedenborg Short Film Festival is open for submissions for its 2011 edition, scheduled for November. The festival showcases films of 30 minutes or less, and the call for submissions asks for responses to themes related to Emanuel Swedenborg's work, which the Swedenborg Society notes could include: "beauty, vision, truth, space, time, love, natural science, physics, metaphysics, wisdom, morality, immortality, belief, states of mind, heaven, hell and the places in between". Imagination is encouraged.

A shortlist of works will be screened in Swedenborg Hall. Potential applicants should contact nora[at]swedenborg.org.uk for more information on how to apply. Deadline for submissions 30 September.
