Applications for the second Sound Bank Grant Scheme are now open. The scheme, run by In The Dark, funds new audio pieces of between three and 15 minutes long, with a cash injection of between £500–£1500, and aims to bring adventurous sound pieces to fruition.
There are four grants up for grabs, and applications are open to anyone from first time producers to experienced professionals. Successful applicants will be allocated a mentor, and the resulting sound works will be included online and as part of In The Dark events. Deadline for proposals is 5 September, winning applicants will be announced 30 September. More info here, and listen to last year's recordings here.
