Jamie Coleman (trumpet), Grundik Kasyansky (electronics) and Seymour Wright (alto saxophone) are all regular members of the Improvisation Workshop run for the past 10 years in South London by Eddie Prévost.

This track is a ten minute edit of an 80 minute durational piece that was recorded in May 2009 at the Church of St James the Great in Friern Barnet, North London.

The full version of the piece appears on one of a series of four CD-Rs on the Another Timbre Byways label, profiling the music of improvisors living in or passing through London over a three week period in spring 2009. The discs offer a snapshot of an Improv scene which is currently undergoing a process of rapid change and development with the emergence of several younger players.
