Artist statement:

"March of the Doldrums" - created from a recording of my compadres Robert Lee & The Travelling Mongoose tinkling on the prepared piano backstage at Bristol Cube, during the tour of "Gargantua: An Excessive Entertainment". The "March of the Doldrums" imagines a fully regimented march, perhaps into the sunset, of a collective of singularly unenthusiastic people, perhaps all depressed, with some mysterious shared depression that none of them can figure out. Nevertheless, the sun is shimmering as they descend into the fire. It was that kind of a day.
