"React"

Artist statement:
"React" is a remote collaborative music project, started in 2013 by musician and sound artist Sam Underwood. The lead artist seeds the process by creating a sound piece to distribute to all contributing artists. They respond to what they hear and send their audio back to the lead artist. A final reaction is then added by the lead artist to complete the pieces.
This piece is from the inaugural "React" album, entitled Black Ship and is unique on the album in that it features the lead artist himself completing this process.
"React002" is due for release later this year. Confirmed contributing artists include Olly Coates, Sarah Kenchington, Paddy Steer, Kit Downes, Sarah Angliss, Daniel Pioro, Colin Webster, Graham Dunning, Rosanne Robertson and Sam’s long-term collaborator David Morton.
