Amen Tma is a duo from Bratislava, Slovakia. "The Moulting" is from the duo's debut album Insect Phonetics Research which they say was inspired by experimental techno, post-industrial, Balinese gamelan and insect sounds.

Insect Phonetics Research was released on the Bratislavan record label, LOM, who state:

"It [Insect Phonetics Research] offers a peek into an alien microworld hazed in a psychedelic veil. As the atmosphere gets progressively darker in the later sections of the album, "The Moulting" ushers in the reproach of the denial and shame that constitute human existence, borrowing from the aesthetics of bamboo gamelan jegog and pejogedan orchestras."
