Leafcutter John aka John Burton is a London based songwriter, electronic musician and artist whose Concourse EEP debut was released by Planet Mu in 2000.

About this track, Burton says: “I made “Slab” using material generated while I made the Resurrection album, which came out in 2015 on Desire Path Recordings. I wanted to put the elements together in a different way and take it in a completely different direction to that of the album. There are lots of sounds here that never made it to the original release, and also some unused material processed using my light controlled music interface.”
