“In The Neck Of Time” was composed between 24–28 July 2015 by musician Chris Strickland, who has a forthcoming release on Notice Recordings. Founded in 2009, the label is originally from Chicago but is now based in New Orleans and Portland, Oregon. Their forthcoming releases include music from Jason Kahn, Tim Olive, Ryoko Akama and Bruno Duplant. Instruments on Strickland’s recording include amplified acoustic guitar, filtered field recordings, vibrational speaker feedback, sonic CD data noise, tin foil filtered field recording and filtered lake recordings supplied by Nick Storring. About the track, Strickland says, “Please listen to it a little louder than usual.”
