Blown Out are the Newcastle based power trio of Mike Vest, John-Michael Hedley and Matt Baty. Formed in early 2014, the group have previously released music on Riot Season, Box Records, Golden Mantra and Oaken Palace. “Transgalactic World Eater” is taken from their second LP Jet Black Hallucinations.
About their group, Blown Out say: “‘You have to learn to die before you die. You give up, surrender to the void, to nothingness.’ Blown Out are made up of members of Bong, Haikai No Ku, Khünnt and Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs. They deliver rolling sonic bass lines, steady free form tempos and totally crushing, waster infused, head-change guitar freakouts.”
Their new record Planetary Engineering will be released soon by Oaken Palace.
