JH1.FS3 is the new electronic collaboration between Frederikke Hoffmeier and Jesse Sanes, who have previously worked together in the industrial outfit Fejhed and are known independently for their work as Puce Mary, and Liebestod and Hoax respectively. Originally developed at Stockholm’s legendary EMS studios in 2014, the JH1.FS3 project combines immense choral textures synthesized at EMS, collaged field recordings from across Europe and North America and visceral texts culled from their personal correspondence to create discrete compositions that explore and articulate, in the duo’s own words, “the tumultuous and halcyon days of love and life”.
