Jana Rush hails from the south side of Chicago, started deejaying from the age of 10 and making tracks at 13, and continues to produce and mix ghetto, basement tracks. Jana became friends with DJ Rashad, Gant-Man, and Nehpets while deejaying at WKKC in the early 1990s. She has always acknowledged DJ Rashad as her biggest supporter and says she still “uses him as motivation to break through many of life obstacles”.
