Freddy Njau aka Slikback is a Kenyan producer currently residing in Poland. His sprawling DJ sets are made entirely of his own sample-based productions, which fuse traditional African rhythms with contemporary club sounds. He is the co-founder of Hakuna Kulala, the Ugandan based label which champions the experimental club music currently coming out of East and South Africa.
