The Nigeria born, Canada raised musician and performer Debby Friday’s multi-disciplinary work explores themes of ritual and feminine aggression as well as discourses of power, forces of diaspora and the aesthetics of eroticism. Her self-engineered and produced second release features NON Worldwide’s Chino Amobi and Deathbomb Arc’s Lana Del Rabies. Friday describes it as “hot noise: full of grief and full of relief. It is the painful and pleasurable next step, the sacrificial offering of my old life to the new.”
