Amrita ‘Ami’ Kaur Dang creates ambient trance music with sitar, voice and electronics. She has been playing the sitar from the age of 12 and got a degree in music technology and composition from Ohio’s Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. Dang’s work connects past and present with east and west on records that cross reference her hometown of Baltimore with her Indian heritage. Dang will perform live on tour in Europe and around the US from February to April 2020.
