"We Don't Hug"
Previously Unreleased
“Fluids are forbidden, real bodies are replaced by purified ones.
We’re losing touch and getting used to it quicker than expected.
There’s no such thing as self-expression anymore.
We are reaching the limits of our imagination.
It’s like we’re in a science fiction movie and maybe we are.
Despite the constant fear of being together, there is a craving.
An acute sense of physical aliveness that we share.
The sky has never been clearer and so have bank accounts.
New smells have appeared like the smell of the air.
New sounds have appeared like the drumming of a woodpecker.
There is a place for non-escapist little birds.
And there’s no dress code or special skills required to get in.
It’s a public nightclub.
Everyone is welcome, even the defective ones.”
