Now based in London, Melbourne born DJ, musician and producer Laila Sakini released the spoken word EP Figures in 2017 with poet Lucy Van via London imprint Purely Physical. In 2019, she followed it with the mixtape Your Day is My Night, a rumination on distance, romance and drama, and then the self-released solo guitar-voice exercise Like A Gun (2020). Her latest work Vivienne is a study of limitation, voice and piano released by Total Stasis.
