Kumio Kurachi has been active in Japan since the 1980s and still plays shows in Fukuoka regularly. He has released more than 20 CDs and cassettes, and has played with Kazuhisa Uchihashi, Tori Kudo, Tenniscoats, Jim O'Rourke and Eiko Ishibashi.
