Berlin based multi-instrumentalist Laure Boer makes music inspired by noise and folk, using traditional instruments, unusual percussion and sometimes vocals, with Boer singing or reciting texts in her native French. In 2019 Boer undertook a two month residency in Manila, Philippines, organised by CTM Festival, Goethe-Institut, Nusasonic and Musicboard Berlin, and in January 2020 she was resident at Amplify Berlin, ACUD, with Rabih Beaini as mentor.
