On his latest studio solo album Bečvou, Brno based musician Tomáš Niesner draws from his previous projects working with modular synths, acoustic guitar, zither and manipulated field recordings. Bečvou is a travelogue based on Niesner’s journey along the Bečva river from its source. This idea was inspired by heavy chemical pollution of the river in 2020, which led to the massive death of its wildlife.
