Nwyvre is one half of the Ireland based unit Whirling Hall Of Knives and has been banging out variations on a technoise theme since the 1990s under a variety of monikers. Nywvre was devised as a live improv project. Its recordings are the result of unedited sessions made with a computer free portable set-up on road trips around Ireland. The pandemic largely put paid to that, forcing a switch to home recording and naturally producing more structured and sequenced tracks such as those featured on more recent releases on Fort Evil Fruit. The previously unreleased “Solar Bones” was recorded at home in the dark days of 2020.
