Electronic musician Mars89 channels UK bass music and the films of Kubrick and Lynch to create new club sounds for Tokyo's underground. He has released music on the UK labels Bokeh Versions, Sneaker Social Club and Natural Sciences. Outside of music, Mars89 has collaborated with fashion brand Undercover's Jun Takahashi on a collection that deconstructed military garments in an anti-war statement.
