Semay Wu is a music maker, composer, cellist, improvisor and media/sound artist using embodied free improvisational frameworks, and electroacoustic sound mashes. Wu has a fixation on tiny sounds and exploratory scores and is enticed by field recordings, live electronics and vocal sampling. Wu’s practice also incorporates automated writing and drawing and scratched cello sounds.
