Leeds-based Lo Egin began with faint ambitions of sounding ‘like Thou with horns’, which didn't work out. These days, the brass metal quintet play in between the borders of composed music and nonsense noise, alchemising doom, death, sludge and free jazz. All are tyrants in the lore of Lo Egin.
