L are Jack, Jack and Laurie. They have released two albums: Marilyn Monroe All Of Us (Radical Documents, Chicago) and My Sister’s Baby (G.L.A.R.C, Glasgow). The latter was produced through an anti-collaborative process: each member recorded in isolation, without hearing the others. It was mixed and released by the label without anyone listening. They heard it for the first time together, in public, outside, beneath the M8 motorway – before attempting an impossible live recreation.
