Coming from São Paulo, Thingamajicks is from one of the selected artists for the 2015 edition of Red Bull Music Academy. Talking about the artist's productions, Novas Frequências explain, “Thingamajicks has a foot on techno and another on ambient music. His sound is synthetic and raw; always playing with the amazingly accidental and manipulating futuristic, psychedelic and shadowy textures and ambiences. His sound is impregnated with adulterated africanities, which makes it profoundly anthropological.

After recording with black metal bands (Sesso Violent) and noise/improv projects (Coprophagic Substratum), during his graduation in Sonic Arts at Middlesex University, Vinicius Duarte turned his artistic intentions to electronic music. His 12” “Patrick's Last Trip”, by the english label Bliq, was one of last year's most notable releases.”
