Talking about the duo, Novas Frequências explain that Repetentes 2008 are: “the duo formed by Thiago Rebello and Gabriel Guerra (aka Guerrinha from Dorgas and Séculos Apaixonados). Repetentes 2008 is a project with only 7 minutes of officially released music. But, of course, that doesn’t prevent “Curriculum Tenebrae” from being a great seven minute EP. The premise and conceptual motto is simple, even banal. Their whole intention is to bring to light the year of 2008 and how, in this year, both of them flunked in their elite class private school. Under the moniker Japa Habilidoso, Gabriel Guerra released a 12’’ through Maxmillion Dunbar’s Future Times label. His own platform is called 40%Foda/Maneirissimo, a Rio-based label specialising in CD-R and digital material created in 2013.”
