Tamio Shiraishi is a legend of the Japanese underground. For over 40 years he has pursued an eruptive style of performance, ranging from visceral, guttural vocal explosions and intense synth work in an early Fushitsusha lineup, to his trademark dog whistle sonics on alto saxophone. In recent years he has been resident in New York.
