Rita Silva is a Portuguese composer currently studying at the Institute of Sonology in the Netherlands. She released The Inflationary Epoch in 2022 on the Colectivo Casa Amarela label. This track, taken from her upcoming solo album, is driven by a growing interest in the cognitive effects of sound. Accompanied by modular synthesizers, her current research focuses on the exploration of recursive melodic patterns that immerse the listener in a state of absolute trance, where the boundaries between sound, space and time intertwine in a psychoacoustic cosmos.
