Julien Desprez is a musician and performer based in Paris. Jazz and rock were his early musical loves, but they evolved rapidly into free forms where body and space find their places through sound. He now considers the guitar more like a battery, an organ, a modifiable instrument deployable at will. Inspired by tap dance techniques, the way he tackles the guitar and applies his foot to his effect pedals completely alters its sound and physical environment, opening new possibilities for the instrument.
