As Static, Hanno Leichtmann recorded four electronica/pop albums and several 7"s and 12"s. He is a member of Groupshow (with Jan Jelinek and Andrew Pekler) and Denseland (with David Moss and Hannes Strobl). He has so far recorded three albums under his own name. The latest is the soundtrack to Christoph Schlingensief’s 2008 film, The African Twin Towers. Leichtmann also runs the label Picture/Disk, which releases unique, handcrafted, transparent 7"s in editions of 23. The artwork comes in the form of photographs, drawings or x-ray images.
