Based in the derelict surroundings of England’s former northern entertainment capital Blackpool, Stained Afro is a collaborative project between Carlito Juanito and Rick T. In reaction to the intrusive noise of modern society, the duo channel found sounds, field recordings, electrical interference and natural drones into an often uncomfortable and disturbing ambience. “Supplemental Shale” is taken from the EP of the same name, released by Must Die. They are currently working on their forthcoming long player.
