Berlin based pianist Nils Frahm might be best known for his unconventional approach to a historic instrument, but he has also built a steady reputation in the electronic world by extending his solo piano set-up with a Juno synthesizer, Fender Rhodes and tape delay. After his first solo piano works, Wintermusik and The Bells, Frahm released Felt to much critical acclaim in 2011. The album was followed by Screws – a birthday gift to his fans recorded while recovering from a thumb injury – and his solo synthesizer EP Juno.
