With his latest album, Martin Thulin pretends to make a record without any direct references to any particular genre. The result is a collection with echoes of everything he has ever listened to since he was three: from quirky, upbeat pop tunes with Joe Meek-ish arrangements to the seven minute instrumental track “Pictures Of Woods”, available on vinyl only through Thulin’s web page.
