In NETHERWORLD, Alessandro Tedeschi manipulates classical music fragments and field recordings such as the noise of ice floes, the aurora borealis, or icy winds, all recorded in Arctic zones. He has composed several albums, Mørketid (2007), Over The Summit and the new Alchemy Of Ice. He’s also the founder and owner of Glacial Movements Records in Italy, whose roster includes Loscil, Bvdub, Francisco López, Aidan Baker, Celer, Mick Harris/Scorn/Lull, Rapoon and many others.
