Lars Greve is a saxophone and clarinet player based in Copenhagen. Inspired by the possibilities of uniting jazz with aspects of abstract and concrète music, his first solo album Breidablik consists of various improvised recordings made in Vestjylland in the Danish countryside, where Greve and his coproducer Aske Zidore grew up. “Marens Mauw” is a short excerpt, recorded without effects on a sand dune at night.
