Co La is the primary project of musician and producer Matthew Papich, formerly of the Baltimore based duo Ecstatic Sunshine. As Co La, Papich’s sample based work is rooted conceptually in questions about how music is dilated by the cultures that create it and the power structures that shape those cultures. Following releases on NNA Tapes and Software, his new album Hegemony Of Delete presents a sensual and immediate take on dub, techno and jazz.
