From a forthcoming release on

New York City based sound artist Geoff Dugan has split his life between the worlds of music and architecture. He contributed to the cassette culture that existed between the mid-1980s and the mid-90s. His sound work has evolved from post-punk-industrial and free-form improvisation to soundtracks, phonography and musique concrète. Since 1997 he has been attempting to merge the fields of architecture and music through his own recording label GD Stereo, where he publishes compilation projects and artists’ solo works, including his own.
