Irek Wojtczak is a Polish saxophone player, improvisor, composer, arranger and graduate of the Academy of Music in Gdańsk. Based in Sopot, he has carved out a place for himself in the Tri-City music scene. He has participated in The Polish Brass Ensemble with Dave Douglas, and performed and/or recorded with, among others, Jim Black and Chris Speed, Herb Robertson Klaus Kugel, the Fonda/Stevens Group, Tymański Brass Ensemble, Contemporary Noise Sextet and Outlook Quartet (as a leader).
