The Genoa born, Bologna based guitar player and bassist Stefano Pilia started out in punk rock but is better known for the deeply immersive drones and textures of his sound and installation works. His previous group projects and collaborations include 3/4HadBeenEliminated, In Zaire, BGP Trio (with David Grubbs), Il Sogno Del Marinaio (with Mike Watt and Andrea Belfi) and Rokia Traorè. He has also released various solo and group recordings with Oren Ambarchi, Massimo Pupillo, John Parish and David Maranha, among many others.
