Negro is the solo project of Valencia guitarist Fernando Junquera, which he began after his underground trio Balano broke up in 2001. Citing influences like John Fahey and Jim O’Rourke, Negro made his live debut in November 2002 and released his first album in 2007. He followed it with 2013’s Formacíon Del Espiritu Nacional, and Pureta, a 2016 cassette of rare material. “Isasa Ha Vuelto” comes from Heráclito (2016), a split album shared with Esperitt.,
