Vancouver’s Peregrine Falls are a shock improv duo bringing together Kenton Loewen on drums and Gordon Grdina on guitars, one of them fretless. Between them they summon tumbling storms of steel that evoke their eclectic influences, ranging from Ed Blackwell, Marc Ribot and The Thing to Jack White, Shellac and Rage Against The Machine, as they hurtle towards a musical head-on collision.
