Discwoman co-founder UMFANG was born in the Bronx and has been living in Brooklyn since 2010. She holds a monthly residency Technofeminism at Bossa Nova Civic Club focusing on new artists and vinyl, and her amorphous polyrhythmic techno productions have been released by videogamemusic, 1080p, Phinery and Allergy Season, and her new record Symbolic Use Of Light was released via Ninja Tune’s Technicolour imprint in June.
