Yolk are an avant rock group based in Dunkirk in northern France. Their musical directions are mapped out by Gong, Fred Frith, The Residents, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum and others, and the group have toured Europe, Brazil and played the Rock In Opposition Festival. Side projects include IDIOT SAINT CRAZY ORCHESTRA, Death Tube and Scathodick Surfers, and Solar is their third album.
