For the past two decades German musician Martin Maischein has been making exploratory, meditative records for labels such as Editions Mego, Force Inc and Position Chrome. “YS-2” is taken from Yogascum – the title is only partly tongue in cheek – a small-run cassette first released under his Goner moniker by Dominick Fernow’s Hospital Productions, and about to be re-released on vinyl by Swiss imprint Hallow Ground.
