Minisym were formed in Nantes in France, in 2013 by Moondog specialist Amaury Cornut, author of a French biography of The Viking of Sixth Avenue. Performing on violin, viola, cello, guitar, theorbe, harmonium, hurdy- gurdy and drums, the six-piece declares Moondog is “rooted in a past without nostalgia, and animated by an almost cosmic modernity”.
